Book translation into English

Main translator: Ole Lindegaard Henriksen, MA (English/Danish)
Translator’s assistant: Lilith Lindegaard Hjorth

The Metaphrasemaker once lived in England, teaching Danish at a British university. His written English is flawless even from a professional point of view. Being a native Danish speaker he specialises in translations/metaphrases into Danish and mostly leaves it to native English-speakers among his localised colleagues to do translations into English. However, in case a Danish publisher (company, etc.) wishes to interest foreign publishing houses (companies, etc.) in books written in Danish, the Metaphrasemaker will be happy to do the translation, the obvious advantage being that all shades of meaning of the Danish text are detected and conveyed to the foreign reader.
Anyone wishing to introduce an English-speaking audience, publisher or company to longer Danish texts in “high fidelity” is invited to contact the Metaphrasemaker. The same goes for English-language publishers or others wanting a deeper insight into longer Danish texts of a nonscientific nature.
